"Reimagining the Edge of False Creek's Seawall: The Honeycomb Approach"

"The Honeycomb Approach" is a sustainable solution for adapting Vancouver's social spaces to the predicted sea level rise. By utilizing interconnecting hexagonal modules, the project aims to promote socialization and community while restoring the lost vegetation and creating a reflection of the prior natural landscape topography.

The use of two different sizes of modules creates a hierarchy between spaces, prioritizing movement and gathering. The modules can be arranged in a variety of patterns, offering flexible social gathering spaces, transitional pathways, and both public and private moments within the larger community space.
